Wow!! So we've had so many reasons to celebrate lately! My sister-in-law Jessica (Doug's brother's wife) had her baby. She wanted to be surprised about the sex and it is a boy (Garrett Michael Reid)! Hooray, congratulations! An extra hip hip hooray goes out to Jessica for having that behemoths (Garrett weighed in at a massive 11 lb. 3 oz) au natural. Good for you Jess! I would never want to do that but I admire those who can!
In addition we also found out another of our family members is pregnant! Since I don't know if the secret is out yet...let's just say congratulations and you know who you are! We are so excited for you! My bet is on a girl!!!
Oh, but the good news doesn't stop there...my brother-in-law just announced that he's getting married! Congratulations Matthew and Tessa!! I can't wait to meet you Tessa! They're getting married in December, so hopefully that will be reason enough for Doug's work to let him off for a few days during Christmas so that we can fly out to the wedding. I won't hold my breath though.
I also have to add, better late than never, that I am SO excited for my sister, Cathy, who is expecting her first baby. Welcome to the mommy club (said with a hint of sarcasm!)! I can't wait to meet your cute little baby girl...well for those who don't know, she's having the ultrasound in a few weeks but I'm betting on a girl!
Oh, and congrats to the many friends who are expecting right now...I haven't forgotten you!
Wow! So now that I've counted my blessings and named them one by one (hee hee) I'd just like to say again, from Doug and I congratulations to our friends and family members!!

So I'm behind in reading your blog! Thanks for the congrats and you can announce it to the world if you want. I find out what we are having on Oct. 10th. I will let everyone know. I can't wait like Jessica did. Also, your house looks great. I'm jealous. It seems our day for that will NEVER come. And who knows? It might not. And Dillon is SOOOO cute. She has so much hair now! And it lightened up. She's adorable. And we really really hope you can come for christmas and if not that then Matthew's wedding. We just love it when you come to town. You don't do it enough! Not that we can talk. We NEVER travel.
